This funky design is built over a drainage pond -
The homeowner had a lot in a great part of town with a
serious challenge. We were able to put the house up on posts (with zoning approval) and keep the drainage pond absorbing runoff and directing the drainage so that it flowed into the
nearby creek. The design is a city take on a rustic cabin
with quite a few artistic touches.

This design creates a house that is a fanciful take on the New England farmhouse of our Pilgrim past. The stone wing, while grand, also provides a sense of humble cottage that has evolved as it's grown with the clapboard "additions."
